We stock a large selection of rope and cordage products including, shock cord, rubber rope, 3 strand type rope, synthetic rope, natural fiber rope, as well as rope and cordage fittings and rope tools. Rope is probably one of the most commonly used hardware items and comes in many different sizes, types, braids, colors, and lengths. So how do you know which rope type is right for you? To help answer this question, we have compiled some useful information below about each of the most popular ropes.

Natural Rope is exactly what it sounds like, it's all natural. Natural rope is made from organic material such as hemp, abaca, and sisal fibers. The most common natural rope is manila rope and is widely used as an all-purpose hardware rope for applications such as hand railings, landscaping, rope ladders, strength training, and crafts. Manila rope is strong, long lasting, and offers a low price point per foot making it an excellent choice for many applications. We offer manila rope in 1/4" – 1 1/2" size diameters.

Synthetic Rope is manmade from oil compounds similar to plastic and include popular rope types like polypropylene, nylon, polyolefin, and poly dacron. Synthetic rope is highly resistant to rot, mildew, abrasion, acid, and decay which makes it perfect for outdoor use for applications such as rigging, fishing, safety, marine, and other harsh use applications. Synthetic rope is very strong, lightweight, and some types even float.

Shock Cord is one of the most popular and versatile products we sell. Sometimes referred to as bungee cord or stretch cord, shock cord is made from small strands of rubber encased in a protective woven outer jacket. The outer jacket helps protect the rubber core from UV rays and also makes the shock cord last longer and more durable. Our shock cord is made in the USA from premium grade materials and is available in sizes 1/8" – ¾". Shock cord can be used for many applications such as tarping, obstacle courses, apparel, fishing, hunting, and general crafts.

Rubber Rope is cord made from EPDM rubber compound and is most commonly used for truck tarping systems. Rubber rope is available in either hollow or solid core. Hollow core stretches slightly more than solid, and some customers prefer it as it is easier to pull when tarping a load, however the solid core has more tenacity and lasts longer due to more overall material. We offer both domestic and import rubber rope to allow for customers looking for either price point cord or high-quality American made product.

Truck Rope which is also commonly referred to as truckers' rope is primarily used for cargo control and tarping applications. We offer three different types of truck rope: Black/Orange Polypropylene "California Truck Rope", Polyolefin, and Poly Dacron. Truck rope is easily identifiable by its orange tracer thread. We offer truck rope in 3/8" – 1" diameters.

3 Strand Rope is the most common strand count rope produced. We stock the most popular 3 strand type ropes including poly propylene, polyolefin, nylon, poly dacron, manila, and truck rope. We offer 1/4" – 1 1/2" diameters. 8 braid and 12 strand rope types are available upon request.
